Self machining quality factors of wire drawing die lead to rapid wear of die:
1 wire drawing die and die steel sleeve mosaic asymmetry, mosaic hard alloy steel sleeve distribution is not even there are gaps, are easy to lead to die in the process of drawing the line of U type cracks.
2 diamond die in the process of laser drilling, clean up the sintering mark is not clean or uneven force will lead to diamond in the process of drawing die pit.
3 mold hole design is not reasonable, inlet lubrication area is too small, too long will lead to the drawing process of lubrication, resulting in accelerated mold wear and tear.
Improper use of wire drawing process lead to rapid wear and tear of the mold:
1 drawing process surface compression ratio is too large, leading to the mold to produce cracks or broken. The vast majority of the cracks or fracture lines are generated by the internal stress release. In any material structure, the existence of stress is inevitable and the internal stress of the wire drawing could have enhanced the mold of microcrystalline structure, but when the drawing surface compression ratio is too large to timely lubrication and temperature rise is too high it will lead to the mold surface portion of the material is removed, the microcrystalline structure to withstand the stress is greatly increased, making it more prone to cracks or broken.
2. Wire tensile axis and the die hole center line asymmetry, resulting in wire and wire drawing die, stress is not uniform, and mechanical vibration impact will cause of wire rod and wire drawing die very high peak stress, both will accelerate the die wear.
3 due to uneven annealing and lead wire hardness is not uniform and other factors can easily lead to fatigue loss of diamond wire drawing die prematurely, resulting in ring groove to accelerate the wear of die hole.
4 wire surface roughness, surface adhesion oxide layer, sand or other impurities will cause excessive wear and tear. When the wire is passed through the die hole, the hard and brittle oxide layer and other adhesion impurities can cause the drawing die hole to be quickly wear and scratch the surface of the wire.
5 lubrication is not smooth or lubricating fluid containing metal debris impurities lead to wear and tear. Poor lubrication can make the die hole surface temperature rise too fast, die die off, resulting in damage to the mold. When the lubricant is not clean, especially when the metal is cut off, it is easy to scratch the surface of the mold hole and the surface of the wire.
